The role includes the delivery of complete, accurate and timely accounting for Group retail, outlet and EMEA wholesale. Provide accounting support and financial management of cost centre and GL records for the required business areas and for highly complex and specialist areas of the business.
This is a full time role and the expectation is for the job holder to work at Head office for a minimum of 2-3 days a week. The Head office is at 40 High Street, Street, Somerset, BA16 0EQ.

• Experience of general ledger accounting, cost centre accounting and detailed knowledge of specialised areas (Property Leases, Retail).
• A strong understanding of SAP including Cost Centre accounting.
• Ability to apply complex accounting principles (lease accounting, provisions, UK GAAP, IFRS).
• A strong understanding of Clark’s business and systems processes.
• Ability to manage large data sets.
• Ability to communicate effectively at different levels and to non-finance managers.
• Good time management & prioritisation skills.
• Advanced PC/Microsoft skills – SAP, Advanced excel.
• Professionally qualified or part qualified accountant either ACA (Chartered), ACCA (Certified) or CIMA (Management), if AAT (Technician) qualified studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred. With relevant and extensive finance experience gained in operational roles during that period.
