What You'll Be Doing
As a BI Engineer, you will be key in making the most of enterprise data to serve our customers better. You will be responsible for leveraging data products to ensure data is at the heart of business decision-making through reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses. In addition, you will support the wider data community by bringing new data to our BI platforms, automating analytical processes, improving data quality, and upskilling colleagues to use our tools and data better.
This role is on a hybrid basis, with 4 days working at the HQ office in Street.
What You'll Bring to the Team
You have at least two years of experience developing BI tools, are highly proficient in Power BI & Power Query and have a sound knowledge of SQL. You have strong analytical ability and communication skills, so you can work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, develop the data products accordingly and take feedback to make the necessary changes. If you have experience in Retail or Supply Chain, that would be desirable, but if you don’t, we would still be interested.
About Clarks
Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825 when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts. At the time, it was ground-breaking: a combination of invention and craftsmanship that has remained at the heart of what the brand does now. In the Clarks archive, more than 22,000 pairs of shoes have sparked revolutions and defined generations. From the original Clarks Desert Boot, first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950, to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognisable signature that makes it unmistakably Clarks.
