Are you a talented Environmental Designer who is looking to gain more international experience working for an iconic brand?  Would you thrive seeing your work implemented in the stores across the world? If so this might be the perfect role for you!

As a Global Store Designer, you will be taking global store concepts and translating into specific retail spaces globally. Working with inhouse teams including Creative Marketing, VM, Retail, Properties and multiple stakeholders across the business, this role plays a critical role in bringing to life our Clarks Brand in our physical environments. You will also have chance to improve and adapt Global concepts as needed, working with internal and external creative teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deploy best in class CAD techniques and presentation skill sets across both 2D and 3D forms to create visual representations of store environments.
Understand (and occasionally undertake) measured buildings surveys to create feasibility, design intent & detailed design CAD packages and appraising individual project potential of every square metre.
Create conceptual images, drawings, and guides to present to key stakeholders throughout the business.
Support with the development of Global store concepts, through concept evolvements, value engineering and test and learn.
Work closely with third party suppliers to arrange fixture quotations, establish lead times, and arrange deliveries for international franchise partners.
Responsible for management & maintenance of all design software, ensuring design packs remain informative, highly presentable and fit for purpose.

What You’ll Bring With You

A Bachelor’s degree or similar in a related field, for example, architecture or interior design.
2 years of relevant work experience
Understanding of shop fit construction methods and technical build detailing.
Experience of providing creative design solutions to brief, understanding different audience needs and applying this knowledge from first design stage to full set drawings.
Ability to presenting to various stakeholders. 
Expert in 2D space layout planning skills and construction detailing.
Expert in 3D modelling and visualisation

Experience working with Autodesk AutoCAD, SketchUp & V-Ray rendering, Microsoft Office. Understand technical construction and joinery language.
