The HRIS Specialist supports system project plans and maintains HR systems, ensuring data integrity. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for system related matters in the Americas.  Updates and tests system changes, generates various reports and provides summaries of data for use in analysis or decision making. Communicates process improvement opportunities to the team and performs other HR systems duties as assigned.

*Please note this is a 3-month contract role beginning March 2024

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Serve as subject matter expert to systems users (HR and business), often acting as the initial point of contact for issues that cannot be resolved independently.
  • Input employee data and verify entries against forms or records.  This includes but is not limited to creating and updating position attributes in ADP, SAP and Ceridian ensuring accurate and timely updates, using information provided by the HR team.
  • Generate and execute basic reports or queries and provides summaries of data for use in analysis or decision making. Validate data outputs.
  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining HR systems in coordination with the Global Systems team, which includes following established procedures for updating, validating, auditing, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
  • Troubleshoot any inquiries or issues by applying root-cause analysis and resolving as necessary.
  • Assists in the preparation of end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
  • Regularly maintain and audit security settings and user access to HR systems, ensuring that access remains up-to-date and relevant. Act as security admin for ADP, Ceridian, I-9, ImageSilo, and other systems owned by HR.
  • Create documentation for new processes and update existing documentation based on enhancements made or business need.
  • Support the HRIS function in any systems implementations, projects, and enhancements with the goal of optimizing efficiencies.
  • Build strong relationships with HR, Payroll, IT, Global HRIS, and other business teams to maintain communication and teamwork.
  • Support HR team on other projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 1+ years of experience in HRIS or relevant HR operations experience.
  • Solid knowledge of HR systems including ADP,and/or Ceridian
  • ADP Enterprise system experience preferred.
  • Proficient Excel skills preferred, including XLOOKUP, SUM, IF, AND, OR, and other functions.
  • Understanding of employment legislation & data protection
  • Understanding of process development and documentation
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of systems configuration & interfaces
  • Report-writing skills
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skill; verbal, written, presentation
  • Excellent organization and task management skills
