The Clarks SAP FICO Team will be expected to liaise with the internal business teams, advisory partners and external implementation partners, to facilitate the continuous improvement and support of FI/CO. The core of the role is managing the sub-team of 4 external FICO consultants to lead the project-based changes and resolve the day-to-day incidents. The successful candidate will gain experience in a broad range of the state-of-the-art e-commerce & retail solution integrating with SAP, as well as the proven business models of a brand owner in a global organization.

What You'll Be Doing

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Coach, mentor, and manage a team of external FICO analysts overseeing their workload and development plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end processes, integrating FICO with other SAP modules (SD, MM, SAP CAR).
  • Ensure business stakeholders are aligned and on board with expected outcomes.
  • Lead the IT design and quality management for SAP FICO, ensuring appropriate involvement from peers in other SAP modules and application teams.
  • Partner with divisional and regional business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems.

Project Delivery & Management

  • Drive SAP-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Apply project methodology and governance processes to change control, system development life cycle, and regression testing.
  • Assess and interpret business requirements, advising on solutions.
  • Ensure all work completed by the FICO team is secure, stable, and scalable.
  • Transform business requirements into technical and functional specifications.
  • Conduct workshops to lock in requirements and prepare blueprints and solution documents.
  • Write functional specifications and ensure excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Lead and manage projects/accounts, working effectively within a team environment
  • Manage requirements scope and disposition through process compliance, gap analysis, integration testing, and user acceptance methodology.
  • Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes.

Application Management

  • Support business-as-usual activities and manage incident escalation processes.
  • Provide technical expertise, identifying potential risks and associated mitigations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in cross-module functionality and processes.
  • Maintain in-depth functional and business process knowledge of target applications.
  • Identify consolidated, worldwide target processes and support end-to-end processes with an intermediate-level understanding of system touch points.
  • Work with the global governance team to ensure proposed solutions align with global standards.
  • Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.
  • Cultivate innovation and demonstrate strong analytical skills to evaluate information from multiple sources.
  • Provide end-user support and training as required on all applicable systems

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 7 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting, with at least 2 years in a team lead or management role.
  • Proven experience in the retail and wholesale industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of classic GL, CoPa, substitution rules, fixed assets, and internal orders.
  • Ability to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language.
  • Experience working in small elite team to manage external services suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage third parties and suppliers.
  • Some level of accounting knowledge, any certification will be a plus
  • Some level of project management skills to meet deliverables timely and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information from multiple sources.
