Working in Wholesale is all about showcasing the best of the Clarks brand in shoe stores around the world. From premium independent retailers like Starcow to high street chains like JD Sports and Shoe Carnival. Well-known department stores such as Selfridges or El Corte Ingles to Clarks franchises, and online partners like Zalando. Getting the right shoes in the right places, to inspire the right customers. And ensuring our style and craft stand out next to the competition.
Delivering around half the Group’s global profits, we’re always thinking ahead, always pushing boundaries, and always looking for new possibilities, as we provide the spark to ignite Clarks’ future.
Our industry never stands still. So, neither do we. We’re constantly watching the markets for the latest trends. Thinking on our feet and adapting to our customers’ changing needs. Sharing our knowledge, working as one, and making decisions on the move to take the brand forward.
You could be working with small independent shoe stores. Shaping our brand positioning for national shoe chains. Or building relationships with nationwide department stores such as Macy’s and JCPenney. Whatever your role, you’ll be encouraged to express yourself and challenge the status quo. You’ll learn from the experienced people around you – and they’ll learn from you. And you’ll have a genuine say in how we progress as a wholesale business, in America and across the globe.
We operate with our own teams, distributors and agents in many European countries, who bring the Clarks brand to life for around 1.2bn potential European, Middle Eastern & African (EMEA) customers. They’re our feet on the ground, constantly developing their unbeatable knowledge of the local markets, customers and trends.
You could be developing major accounts such as Goertz or size? Creating a shop–in–shop for a department store like Selfridges or Galaries Lafayette. Or advising and guiding Clarks franchises. We strive to build strong commercial and long-term relationships, having the confidence to take your own decisions, and working closely with Marketing and Operations teams across the business. All to keep the Clarks brand one step ahead.
Working in Wholesale, you’ll be constantly communicating with people in different business areas across Clarks. From Merchandising to Finance, Marketing to Logistics. And as part of a constantly changing global business, you’ll work with – and learn from – people from different cultures and backgrounds.
